Secret City Sounds presents the return of the United States Air Force Band of Mid America on Saturday.

This year, they will perform with their ensemble, Starlifter. This seven-member group will play a variety of songs from rock, pop, and jazz to contemporary and traditional patriotic songs.

“We are delighted to have them here in Oak Ridge on May 19, as that is Armed Forces Day,” said series organizer and Arts Council of Oak Ridge board member Scott Linn.

Armed Forces Day celebrates and pays tribute to all the men and women who serve in the United States’ armed forces.

The Secret City Sounds concert series is held at the pavilion at A.K. Bissell Park in Oak Ridge, and the shows start about 7 p.m.
