Aftah Party will perform Friday in the second show of the Secret City Sounds concert series at A.K. Bissell Park. The show begins at 7 p.m.
This ten-piece band, formed by brothers Ken and Keith Brown and their longtime friend Melvin Ellis, will be playing a mixture of funk, soul, hip-hop, jazz, and rock at the park’s pavilion.
All Secret City Sounds concerts are free. The pavilion is located behind the Civic Center on Oak Ridge Turnpike.
Other performers this year include the United States Air Force Band of Mid America with the ensemble Startlifter, Oak Ridge native Jenn Cristy, the Natti Love Joys, and Soul Candy and the Traffic Jam.
