The Oak Ridge Public Works Department is conducting an inventory of the city stormwater system.

It’s a requirement of the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System, or MS4, program, and mandated by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, or TDEC. The survey requires documenting all facets of the stormwater system, including, but not limited to streams, ditches, pipe inlets and outlets, and catch basins and detention basins, a press release said.
