Oh my, Miss Bev and Miss Sandi, are going “ape nuts” for me. I am a stunner, Baby Doll.

You see my sad story is that my owner died. There were three of us who were trapped by her son and brought into the shelter.

Well, my siblings have found their humans; I am still waiting. I so deserve a happy ending and need forever soon. Are you my mommy or daddy? [Read more…]

They named me Raquel, because I am absolutely the most beautiful Sharpei mix you’ve ever seen! I’m incredibly personable, and I have a lot of energy! I’m obviously a people person, because I go nuts for affection when anyone grabs me for a walk.

I’m only about a year old, 45 pounds, and want to be in my forever home! Once I get over the excitement of being on the leash to go out (AKA “go potty”), I’m really pretty good.

I also just love everyone and everything! [Read more…]

I am a stunning beauty, but I am very scared. Maybe someone before my foster mommy Darlene wasn’t so kind to me. I need a very special someone to love me.

My tail was severed when I came to the shelter. I was so scared, but Miss Bev scooped me up and rushed me to the vet, where they amputated my tail. Now I am a beautiful bobtail.

Virginia Sue is two years old. Currently in foster care but still needs the perfect patient home. Contact the shelter at (865) 425-3423 to arrange a meeting.

The Oak Ridge Animal Shelter is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. It’s located at 395 Belgrade Road in east Oak Ridge.
