The Oak Ridge Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing teenager.

Shayla Cook, 16, of Oak Ridge, was last seen at her home on the evening of October 31, 2017, the Oak Ridge Police Department said.

She was reported missing the following day by a family member who believes Shayla left on her own and may be with a non-custodial parent, the ORPD said.

“Investigators have followed up on multiple leads from family members and neighbors in attempting to locate Shayla, without success,” the Police Department said. “Investigators do not have any reason to believe Shayla is in danger.”

If you have seen Shayla or have any information about where she might be, the Oak Ridge Police Department asks you to call them at (865) 425-4399.

More information will be added as it becomes available.
