Free workshop on accounting for small businesses

A free workshop on accounting for small businesses is being offered Friday, June 26.

The workshop is for small businesses, and it’s being offered by the Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Roane State Community College, in partnership with Pugh CPAs.

It’s scheduled from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Friday, June 26, at the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce, 1400 Oak Ridge Turnpike.

Topics that will be included are the types of financial statements, “do’s and don’ts,” best practices, and resources available.

The Tennessee Small Business Development Center advises and assists entrepreneurs and small business owners in the area at no cost to them.
