The Secret City Festival is looking for volunteers.

The 2018 Secret City Festival, celebrating the City of Oak Ridge’s 75th anniversary, is June 8 and 9.

“It takes a great community to run the Secret City Festival, and volunteers are needed to help make sure all the festivities run smoothly,” organizers said. “Check out the Secret City Festival website for a list of activities. There will be a giant knock-out game to set a world record, a 75th Anniversary Parade, and the usual craft vendors, food vendors, and music!

“Please join us in the fun and volunteer for a few hours while you are there.”

Organizers said they need volunteers to help with concert tickets, the Guinness World Record Knockout Game, and parking, vendor assistance, and the information booth.

It’s easy to sign up using the online Sign up Genius, organizers said. To sign up, just click on the following link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080e4aada62da4fd0-2018. Organizers previously said there are more than 400 volunteer time slots available this year to help make the festival a success.

“Every two hours count,” organizers said.

Here is the link for you and your team to sign up for what will work for your schedules: http://www.Secretcityfestival.com. Follow the links to the volunteer opportunities.

If you have questions, you can send an email to celebrateoakridge.volunteers@gmail.com.

“We look forward to seeing you and your team at the volunteer check-in table,” organizers said. “Let’s help make the Secret City Festival 2018 the best yet.”
