The Clinton Public Library will be closed November 11-16 for renovations.

The closing is the first phase of a three-part effort to replace all the flooring and some furniture within the library, a press release said.

Similar closings will occur in December and January.

To prepare for the closings, some of the library’s regularly scheduled programs will be canceled or moved, the press release said. During the closings, the drop box will remain open and no fees will accrue on any library patron accounts, the release said.

The online catalog and TN READs will be available 24 hours a day, seven days per week, the press release said.

To learn more about any future closings or special announcements, you can visit the library’s website at www.clintonpubliclibrary.org or social media pages.

The Clinton Public Library is located at 118 South Hicks Street in Clinton. It is open 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. You can call the library at (865) 457-0519.

More information will be added as it becomes available.
