Council to hear updates on Blankenship, energy savings

The Oak Ridge City Council on Tuesday will hear an update on the progress and next steps in the Blankenship Field revitalization project and an update on energy savings projects.

The update on the Blankenship Field project, which includes the installation of synthetic turf, will be given by Jon Hetrick, Oak Ridge Recreation and Parks director.

The update on the energy savings project will be given by Kevin Waters, business development manager for Energy Systems Group.

The meeting, a non-voting work session, will start at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Multipurpose Room at the Central Services Complex on Woodbury Lane. See the agenda here.
