Scarboro should also be the location of choice for the new SAB. Let’s get these projects moving and not delay anymore.
MIKE STEVENS says
I have heard that they may be considering a remodel of G Building and putting the SAB there.
Carol Donath says
Sorry, what’s SAB?
Sam Hopwood says
School Administration Building.
Carol Donath says
thank you!

I apologize for the much-delayed response. As I recall, there was once discussion of putting the School Administration Building in the G Building at Oak Ridge High School, but I haven’t heard any recent discussion of that. I don’t recall whether that discussion was under former superintendent Tom Bailey. It seems like there was once brief discussion of the SAB sharing space with the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce, but I could be wrong about that. In any case, Explore Oak Ridge (the Oak Ridge Convention and Visitors Bureau) is now in the Chamber building.
All the recent discussion that I’ve heard has focused on the preschool, and none that I’ve heard has discussed moving the SAB.
