ORPD: Missing boy has been located

The 11-year-old boy reported missing Tuesday evening has been located, authorities said.

The boy had last been seen in the area of West Outer Drive near Whippoorwill.

The Oak Ridge Police Department sent out an alert just after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday that the juvenile has been located.

“ORPD thanks the community for their assistance,” the alert said.

More information will be added as it becomes available.
