Armed robbery reported on Jonathan Lane on Saturday

An armed home-invasion robbery was reported on Jonathan Lane in Oak Ridge on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.

The robbery was reported at 122 Jonathan Lane at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday, the Oak Ridge Police Department said.

The occupants of the home were assaulted and robbed of cash and prescription drugs, the ORPD said in a press release. One of the victims was transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center by Anderson County EMS for treatment of injuries sustained during the assault. The other victim went to UTMC by private vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing, and  no further information is available at this time, the ORPD said.
