Two men, including one suspect allegedly armed with a gun, reportedly entered a home on Waddell Circle on Thursday night, assaulted someone, and stole money and property valued at $860, authorities said.

The robbery was reported at about 10:29 p.m. Thursday, September 3, at 214 Waddell Circle. The suspects fled before Oak Ridge Police Department officers arrived, a press release said.

The ORPD asked anyone who might have information about the robbery to call (865) 425-4399. You can also TEXT-A-TIP by texting “TIP ORPD” followed by your message to 888777. If it is an emergency, dial 911.

“This investigation remains ongoing, and no further details will be released at this time,” the press release said.

More information will be added as it becomes available.
