The Camera Club of Oak Ridge is presenting its 66th Salon this month. It’s one of the most prestigious juried photography competitions in East Tennessee, and it’s on display at the Y-12 New Hope Center at 602 Scarboro Road in Oak Ridge from November 10 to 20.

The Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, November 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The public is invited to a free Reception and Gallery Walk on Friday, November 14, from 7-9 p.m.

“It will feature the results of our 2014 annual Salon showcasing the best images of East Tennessee photographers and graphic artists,” a press release said. “This is an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the work of local photographic artists, for people interested in photography to meet our members and listen to guided reviews of the images by judges, and for professionals to keep up with local trends.”

The Camera Club has been around since 1946 and meets at 7:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month at the Oak Ridge campus of the Roane State Community College.
