Comedy at the Grove Theater

Comedy Night at the Grove Theater on Friday, October 17, will feature local comedians.

You may have seen Whitson perform throughout the Southeast, including Atlanta, Asheville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga.

“He’s been known for mesmerizing you with his magical skills and possibly even judging you for your eyebrow-shaping etiquette,” the press release said.

Headlining the show will be Josh Phillips, an Oak Ridge native and professional full-time comedian for eight years.

“He has performed for the troops here and overseas, he’s been on the Paula Deen Network…He will be starring in an up-and-coming reality show on the History Channel,” the press release said.

The show starts at 8 p.m., and the doors open at 7. The Grove Theater is at 123 Randolph Road in Oak Ridge.

Food and beverages will be available before the show and during intermission (cash bar only). Admission will be for adults 18 and up only. Must be 21 to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages. Smoking will not be permitted inside of the building.
