An Oak Ridge woman who is accused of stabbing a Kingston resident in the stomach last summer after an argument in Grove Center has been indicted on charges of attempted second-degree murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Treasure Sheitel Threat, 26, of Lynwood Lane, has been jailed since the alleged incident on July 27, 2012. The grand jury indictments were filed Oct. 1.
Threat is accused of stabbing Kingston resident Stanley Wallace in the stomach in his car at the intersection of Robin Lane and Raleigh Road.
Arrest warrants filed last summer said another woman had summoned Threat to Grove Center, but she forgot that Wallace and Threat didn’t like each other.
Threat and the other woman left Grove Center on foot and Wallace left in a car, but they met at the nearby intersection, the warrants said. Threat has been accused of walking up to Wallace’s driver-side window, punching him when he pulled up to a stop sign, and stabbing him.
Threat told police that Wallace intentionally hit her with his vehicle, striking her with a side mirror as he drove away.
