The Oak Ridge Public Library is offering the community free tutorials for operating many different types of Kindles starting May 21.

Joan Kearney, a Kindle enthusiast, has worked at the Library for 30 years and owns different types of Kindles. She can help walk you through the checkout process on your Kindle device, whether it’s a first-generation Kindle or the latest version so you can explore the library’s electronic collection.

Kearney will be available for one-on-one tutorials on Tuesday, May 21, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The schedule for June and beyond will be the first and third Tuesday of every month from 10 a.m.to 11 a.m.

Bring your Kindle and learn how to access the library’s digital collection of audiobooks and eBooks.

For more information, please contact the Circulation Librarian at (865) 425-3455 or email her at CircLib@oakridgetn.gov.
