Reba W. Dillon, age 77, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Monday, March 25, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
Mrs. Dillon was born Dec. 4, 1935, in the Fork Mountain Community of Anderson County. She has continued to live in Oliver Springs following a move here during her early years.
She was a faithful Christian and a member of the Kellytown Baptist Church. Reba was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her hobby was quilting, and she generously provided quilts for family and others.
Before her retirement she worked in banking and bookkeeping.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mike Ollis; by her parents, Columbus and Grace Marie Ward; and by a sister, Nadine Patterson.
Reba is survived by her husband, James Dillon of Oliver Springs, by daughters; Libby Gaylor of Knoxville, and Stacee Hill and husband, Chris of Caryville; by a son, Jeff Ollis and wife Tammy of Oliver Springs; by grandchildren, Jeffery Ollis and wife Jennifer, John Paul, Molly, and Haley Gaylor, Cassidy, Kane, and Jade Taylor, and Gage Hill; and by great-grandchildren, Lily and Deacon Ollis.
A graveside service was held Thursday, March 28, at 1 p.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial Park with Pastor Matt Reed officiating.
