“A Night of Violin, Vocal, and Piano Music” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church in Oak Ridge.

This first free coffee concert of the Oak Ridge Civic Music Association season will feature violinist John Michael Fox, tenor singer George Deaton, and pianist Pam Robertson.

Fox will play two pieces for unaccompanied violin—J. S. Bach’s Sonata No. 3 in C Major and a Jacob Dont fantasia. He and Robertson will perform Wieniawski’s Scherzo-Tarantella Op. 16 for violin and piano.

The three performers will present groups of French and Italian songs, among them Marcel Tournier’s “La Lettre du Jardinier,” Paolo Tosti’s “L’ultima canzone,” and Eduardo di Capua’s “O sole mio.”

Deaton, of Raleigh, N.C., and Fox, of Knoxville, have collaborated for the last several years at the Assisi Music Festival in Italy. Fox is a violin teacher and performer. Robertson, of Powell, is a piano teacher, accompanist and composer.

The First Presbyterian Church is at 1051 Oak Ridge Turnpike.
