Oak Ridge outdoor pool open today, again on June 2

Oak Ridge Outdoor Swimming Pool

Hundreds of swimmers enjoy the Oak Ridge Outdoor Pool on Providence Road on Memorial Day.

The Oak Ridge Outdoor Swimming Pool opened for the Memorial Day weekend, and it will open for the summer on June 2.

People streamed into the pool today, Memorial Day, seeking refuge from the hot sun on the holiday weekend. The pool is open until 6 p.m. today.

It’s been open noon to 6 p.m. this weekend and will be open regular hours starting Saturday, June 2. The regular hours are noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

The pool is located at 172 Providence Road. Admission is $3 for adults and $1.50 for children under 18.
