SARG Paws for Life Committee

SARG is having a Paws for Life Gala on Friday, April 20, to raise money for abused and neglected animals. Pictured above from left to right are Jan Baker, Vada Oberlin, Kim Denton, Sara Moore, Shirley Auble, Dreama Easter, and Robin Biloski.

SARG Committee members are having an April 20 fundraiser to help abused and neglected animals.

The fundraiser, called Paws for Life Gala, is at the DoubleTree Hotel in Oak Ridge from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 20. The evening will include a light buffet supper, music, silent auction, and live auction hosted by Bear Stephenson.

Gala tickets are $35 or $60 per couple and are available by sending payment and the names of attendees to SARG, 124 Newell Ln. Oak Ridge, TN 37830, or by calling Robin Biloski at (865) 220-9776. Reservations will be accepted through this weekend.

Items in the auction include beautiful local jewelry items, vacation packages, UT football tickets, great restaurant packages, and that sporty little BMW electric convertible in the photo above. Please go to the SARG website (www.shelteranimalsrescue.org) for more information on the Gala and SARG.

SARG (Shelter Animal Rescue Group) is a nonprofit organization that has been working since 1996 to rescue animals and find a permanent home for them. Their mission is to provide foster homes and medical care for these animals until they find a loving home for them.
