Free Trunk or Treat, movie in Rocky Top on Oct. 28

ASAP of Anderson is partnering with the City of Rocky Top to present free trunk-or-treating and a showing of “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” on Friday, October 28.

It’s scheduled from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on October 28 at Rocky Top’s George Templin Field, a press release said.

“Fun activities and free resources will be available for the whole family!” the release said.

The free event will include food and costume contests, the press release said.

Trunk or Treat at Roane State is Thursday

The always popular Trunk or Treat event is back this year at Roane State Community College, scheduled for the evening of Thursday, October 28, a press release said.

Trunk or Treat festivities will begin at 5 p.m. and wrap up around 7 p.m., the press release said. College students, employees, and members of the community are welcome to attend. Admission is free.

The event will take place in the student parking lot next to the O’Brien Theatre on the Roane County campus, located at 276 Patton Lane in Harriman. Signage on campus will direct visitors where to go when they arrive.

Participants will be able to collect candy and other treats as they visit vehicles lined up in the parking area. Many event volunteers will be in costume.

ORAU Employees Club to host parking lot Trunk or Treat on Oct. 31

The ORAU Employees Club will host a free Trunk or Treat event for the community on Thursday, October 31, from 7 to 9 p.m. ORAU employee volunteers will be handing out candy to trick or treaters at the ORAU main campus parking lot, located at 100 ORAU Way, a press release said.

“This is the first year we’ve done an event like this. Our Employees Club members are embracing Trunk or Treat, and we hope a lot of families bring their children to participate,” said Krista Seaton, the ORAU employee who is organizing the event.

Clinton Church of Christ has ‘Trunk-or-Treat’ on Halloween

The Clinton Church of Christ has a “Trunk-or-Treat” on Halloween night, Saturday, October 31, starting at 5 p.m. in the parking lot of their facility at 500 North Main Street in Clinton.

“Stop by on your trick-or-treat route and join us!” the church said.
