Thomas “Tommy” Jarrell St. John, age 76, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Thursday, November 27, at Methodist Medical Center.
Tommy was born June 9, 1938, in McMinnville, Tennessee. He and his family moved to Oak Ridge in the early 1950s and then on to Oliver Springs in 1967, where he has continued to live.
Tommy was a United States Army Veteran, and while serving he received several medals, ribbons, citations, and commendations. After his military service, he became a self-employed master plumber, an occupation he continued until his retirement. He was a faithful Christian and a very active member of the Oliver Springs Church of Christ, where he served in various functions.
