Ballet and Pilates for Life will be presenting its first public performance—“Peter and the Wolf”—at the Grove Theater this weekend.

“You will be delighted as our children’s ballet brings to life Sergei Prokofiev’s marvelous musical tale,” artistic director Elize Allan said in a press release. “We want the community to come out, support our young dancers, and enjoy a great show.”

“Peter and the Wolf” is the story of a young boy who ventures outside the safety of his grandfather’s cottage gate to frolic in the green meadow—but beware, the release said. [Read more…]
