Rosemary Haberthier Warne

Rosemary Haberthier Warne, 90, passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014. Beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Rosemary’s loving, kind, and generous spirit will be remembered by all those whose lives she touched.

She was born in St. Louis, Mo., on July 24, 1923, and was the only child to the late George A. and Joan Haberthier.

She often mentioned how much she enjoyed “life in the big city” as a working woman in the 1940s.

In 1946, Rosemary married George Warne in University City and moved to Oak Ridge, where they raised their four children. Rosemary and George were founding members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where they were active for more than 65 years. Rosemary was a member and past president of the Catholic Women’s Club.
