Rickey Allen Lively, age 58, a resident of Powell, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 1, at Methodist Medical Center.

Rickey was born Nov. 7, 1954, in Harriman. He grew up and lived in Oliver Springs until his move to Powell in 1983.

Mr. Lively was a coal miner and a member of the Union Valley Baptist Church. Rickey loved people, and he never met a stranger. He enjoyed fishing, outdoor activities, and playing his guitar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramsey Lively and Pauline Melton Lively; and by a brother, James Ramsey Lively. [Read more…]
