Miss Maggie named me Britany. Cute name just like me. I was brought in as a stray from British Woods Apartments in Oak Ridge.

Please share for me. I do not like being in a cage. It is scary and I am lonely. Will you come?  [Read more…]

I can woo even the most stubborn person with my beautiful blue eyes! I’m Katie, a Siberian Husky mix who has just had a bunch of puppies. The kids are on their own now, though, so on Friday, January 30, I became available.

I’m about two years old (estimated), and am house-trained and good with cats.

I had been wandering around the “W” streets in Oak Ridge until a beautiful lady brought me in and let me have my puppies. [Read more…]

Pet of the Day: Hercules

I am a beautiful black and tan coonhound—named Hercules, of course—cause I’m such a marvelous specimen of a good dog.

When I came in, I had apparently had it out with a coon or two, but that just means I’ve been a great hunter for my owner. I’m super super friendly, and would love to be in your yard, or in your lap. I am available!

Fee is sponsored at 50 percent! (AS/AB) [Read more…]

Well, if you have a heart for the more senior, then I am your girl.

I am Barbie, a sweet female who needs some TLC to make me feel very special. I deserve so much more than a steel cage of cold walls to live out my days.

I hear the rumors…no one wants the older ones, but Miss Bev tells us that we matter. Will you come for me…because I matter? [Read more…]

Pet of the Day: Kelly

Submitted

Hello my friends! I’m Kelly, a 12-year old Norwegian Elkhound mix surrendered on January 3. I’m very confused right now, and pretty sad as well.

Mr. David got me a big fat orthopedic dog bed to lay on ’cause my old bones get cramped up here in this kennel. I’m a really sweet girl, and I will be available on Saturday, January 17. I’m a little bit lame, but I still have a TON of love in my heart! If you can’t adopt me, please come see me and be friendly when I get out of quarantine!
