Roane State open house Saturday

Roane State Community College will host an open house for high school seniors, juniors, and parents on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Roane County campus in Harriman.

Attendees will register in the theatre lobby in the O’Brien Humanities Building, a press release said. A brunch will be offered at no cost.

New Jackson Square bank has grand opening Friday

A new bank in Jackson Square will have a grand opening and open house on Friday.

The celebration at CapitalMark Bank and Trust will include an 11:30 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony. The public is invited to visit any time during the day, and Oak Ridge Mayor Tom Beehan and CapitalMark staff will attend the ribbon-cutting, a press release said.

Anderson County Farm Bureau ribbon-cutting on Thursday

Anderson County Farm Bureau invites Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce members to an open house on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The ribbon-cutting, which will be held at 12:15 p.m., is to celebrate the company’s new location in Manhattan Place Shopping Center.

ORAU has raised more than $1 million over the past 10 years through this campaign. A total of $126,839 was pledged during the 2024 ORAU Annual Giving Campaign.
