Louise Tuttle Haney, age 88, a resident of the Batley Community in Anderson County, passed away Friday, May 31, at her home.
Mrs. Haney was born Sept. 13, 1924, in Coal Creek, Tenn., which is now Lake City. She had lived in the Batley Community most of her life.
She was a faithful Christian who loved the Lord, and she was a member of the Batley Baptist Church. She also loved her family and she was a mother, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Murphy Tuttle and Retha Mae Tuttle McKamey; by her husband, Emmett Haney; by sons, Alfred, Billy, and Glen Haney; by a daughter, Betty Nelson; by a granddaughter, Tyler Brown; by son-in-laws, Roger Brown and Sam Nelson; and by a daughter-in-law, Vera Haney.
