Rev. Kenneth L. Bean, born Feb. 14, 1947, age 66, of Lake City, went to be home with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 2, at Tennova Hospice in Halls.
He was called to preach in 1985, pastored five churches, and had a radio broadcast at WYSH and open church at Clinton Towers for two years. Rev. Bean was a member and deacon at Pine Ridge Baptist Church for 13 years.
He worked for Y-12 in Oak Ridge for 44 years where he retired.
He was highly respected and known as an expert in rabbit hunting in which he had written many articles and short stories for “The Rabbit Hunting†magazine. [Read more…]
