Dargie Arwood of Oak Ridge, a mother of three boys with intellectual and developmental disabilities, has been chosen to fill the position of executive director of The Arc Anderson County, a press release said.
Arwood started on Nov. 11, and she has been working to create a support group for families with a member who has I/DD, an anti-bullying seminar, and various other programs in the community.
