The historic David Hall Cabin, the oldest home and business in Anderson County, will have its annual Spring Open House this weekend—Saturday, June 6, and Sunday June 7—from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

This year, Civil War battle re-enactments will be held both days at 2 p.m.

In addition, there will be demonstrations of blacksmithing, lye soap making, butter churning, and weaving, as well as storytelling and bluegrass and gospel music throughout the weekend. [Read more…]
