Roane State Community College will offer extended business hours to help students get ready for the spring semester.

  • Friday, January 4: Business hours offered at all campuses, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. local time
  • Monday January 7- Thursday January 10: Business hours offered at all campuses, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. local time
  • Friday, January 11: Campuses on normal Friday schedule.
  • Monday January 14- Thursday January 17: Business hours offered at all campuses, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. local time
  • Friday, January 18: Campuses on normal Friday schedule.

Spring classes begin January 14.

Take advantage of Roane State’s extended business hours

Roane State Community College will offer extended business hours to help students get ready for the start of spring semester, a press release said.

January 2-4: The Roane and Oak Ridge campuses will be open until 6 p.m. local time. All other campuses will be on their normal Monday-Thursday schedule or Monday-Friday schedule. The Roane and Oak Ridge campuses will be open until 4:30 p.m. Eastern time on Friday, January 5.

January 8-11: The Roane and Oak Ridge campuses will be open until 6 p.m. local time. All other campuses will be on their normal schedule Monday through Thursday. [Read more…]

The main Roane State Community College campus in Harriman. The college also has a branch campus in Oak Ridge.

Roane State Community College will offer extended business hours to help students get ready for the start of fall classes, which begin August 25.

Extended hours for the Roane County and Oak Ridge campuses will be:

  • Monday, August 18-Thursday, August 21, from 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m.,
  • Saturday, August 23, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and
  • Monday, August 25-Thursday, August 28, from 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m.

The Roane County and Oak Ridge campuses will maintain usual business hours (8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) on Fridays, a press release said. [Read more…]

Roane State Community College campuses will offer extended business hours after the holiday break to help students get ready for the start of spring classes.

Roane State has been closed since Dec. 15 and will be closed through Tuesday, Jan. 1, for the holidays. All campuses will reopen on Wednesday, Jan. 2.

ORAU has raised more than $1 million over the past 10 years through this campaign. A total of $126,839 was pledged during the 2024 ORAU Annual Giving Campaign.
