The FOL Winter Book Sale is at the Oak Ridge Public Library.
Saturday, February 5, is Half-Price Sale Day from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, February 6, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., is Buy-A-Bag-of-Books Sale with each bag provided by FOL priced at $3.
[Read more…]The Friends of the Oak Ridge Public Library Spring 2021 Book Sale is returning after more than a year.
The Book Sale is Friday, May 21, and Saturday, May 22. It will be a smaller sale at a different location because the Oak Ridge Public Library is not yet fully open to the public, a press release said.
“But we are ready to have a sale to share with you the many items we have received since our last sale in March 2020,” the press release said.
The sale will be held in two rooms on the lower level of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore building in Grove Center. The entrance is on Robertsville Road.

The Winter 2020 Book Sale is from Thursday evening, March 5, to Sunday, March 8. It is in the Library Auditorium.
Besides books, jigsaw puzzles, music compact discs, and other items will also be available, a press release said. Most titles will still be 50 cents or $1 each, the press release said. Withdrawn library titles will be half price Thursday through Saturday.

Clinton Public Library
The Friends of the Clinton Public Library will have their book sale this week from March 20-23.
All proceeds from the sale will be used to help the Clinton Public Library, a press release said. All items will be from from $0.50 to $1, the press release said.

The Coffey Library at Roane State Community College’s Oak Ridge campus will host its annual “Love Your Library†book sale on Monday, February 25, and Tuesday, February 26, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
The sale will include fiction, non-fiction, hardback books, paperbacks, textbooks, cookbooks, foreign language, children’s books, craft books, and much more, a press release said. The sale will include fiction and nonfiction books, magazines, audiovisual materials, and other publications covering almost every subject, a press release said. Most titles are 50 cents or $1 each. Titles withdrawn from the Library are half price Thursday through Saturday.
There will be a preview sale for members from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening, May 10. Memberships will be available at the door; they are $5 per individual and $10 for a family. (Scanning devices cannot be used during the preview sale on Thursday.) The Silent Auction begins on Thursday evening and ends at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Friends of the Oak Ridge Library, or FOL, can now accept all major credit cards during its sales.

The Silent Auction began on Thursday evening, and it ends at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Friends of the Oak Ridge Library can now accept Visa and MasterCard during its sales, the press release said.
