I wasn’t feeling well so mommy took me to the vet. I feel much better now but I found out my siblings are gone, so I am so very alone.
I loved it when she picked me up and talked to me so very sweet and cuddled me up real tight in her arms. I need a home please.

The 4th Annual Mutt Strutt on Saturday will benefit the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter.
The charity dog walk is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at the PetSafe Dog Park at Big Turtle Park on Oak Ridge Turnpike in west Oak Ridge. It’s been organized by the Young Professionals of Oak Ridge.
The Mutt Strutt will feature a group dog walk, raffle prizes, and dogs available for adoption.

How do you spell beautiful? Evidently, it is T-A-N-G-O because he is really a stunning looking dog. Tango is an absolutely gorgeous chow/retriever mix. He’s sweet and gentle. His coloring is the most beautiful deep red that you will ever see.

Spike is another beautiful pet that is ready to go today. He is a hound mix that is two years old. He is almost perfect but still needs a little patience walking on a leash.
Every volunteer loves him along with the other dogs and cats at the shelter. He has such a sweet and loving disposition combined with a huge personality.

Wooly and Chase here…Aren’t we too cute, sitting here waiting on someone to promise forever?
You see, we got dumped here by our owners. How can they just walk away? It made us sad, but you know what? There are wonderful people like Miss Bev and Miss Maggie who just snatched us up lovingly in their arms and whisked us away. An animal rescue group has a fundraiser at Baskin-Robbins in Oak Ridge this evening.
SARG, the rescue group, will have giveaways, and local celebrities will be appearing, organizers said. A portion of the proceeds at the Celebrity Scoops for Paws and Purrs fundraiser will benefit SARG (Shelter Animals Rescue Group).
The fundraiser is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. today (Saturday, August 23) at Baskin-Robbins, which is at 104 East Tulsa Road in Oak Ridge.

Organizers said parking will be available in the large shopping center near the ice cream shop or across the street in the parking lot of the former Chinese restaurant.
