Oak Ridge Today has taken a few days off in order to attend a family reunion, and for the most part, we haven’t been able to post stories for the past few days.
We resume our regular posting today (Monday, June 26).
The family reunion was in West Yellowstone, Montana.
It’s the first vacation we’ve had since we started more than five years ago.
We will try to provide more information later. Thank you for your support and for reading Oak Ridge Today.

Thank you, Angi and Jamie. Seeing family again after five years and getting a break after five years were both great. I think I need more vacations (more than every five years)!
I come from a large family—I’ll try to post a family reunion picture when I can—and we never run out of things to talk about or people to talk to. There were lots of funny stories shared by my parents, aunts and uncles, and between cousins. It’s remarkable how you can not see family members for some time and yet when you see them again, even after several years, you pick up right where you left off, like you really haven’t been apart that long.
West Montana is beautiful. I lived in the Denver area for four years, and being back in Montana reminded me of what I loved about the West.
