The Oak Ridge Farmers Market has already opened for the season on Saturday mornings, and starting today, the market will also be open on Wednesday afternoons.

The farmers market, one of the oldest continuously operating markets in Tennessee, is in the parking lot just north of Jackson Square. Vendors sell locally grown produce, meats, honey, eggs, plants, and flowers.

They also offer other products such as fresh-baked goods, granola, jams, and jellies.

Wednesday’s Farmer Market runs from 3 to 6 p.m. and Saturday’s operates from 8 a.m. to noon. The markets open in the spring and operate through the fall.

For more information, visit the East Tennessee Farmers Association for Retail Marketing (FARM) website.
