Learn about the importance of building a relationship with your physicians and other health professionals as family medicine practitioner Ann Carter, MD, and her nursing staff, Sandra Mincey, FNP-BC, and Cheryl Goforth, NP, present “It Takes a Team- Partnering with Your Healthcare Provider†at Methodist Medical Center’s Health Night on the Town lecture on Tuesday, April 26 at 7 p.m. in the Ridge Conference Room of Methodist Medical Center, 990 Oak Ridge Turnpike.
The program is free and open to the public.
Dr. Carter received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine in Memphis. She completed a family practice residency at the University of Maryland in Baltimore and the University of Tennessee Memorial Research Center and Hospital in Knoxville. She is board-certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Carter is in practice with Oak Ridge Internal Medicine Associates of Oak Ridge.
Sandra Mincey, FNP-BC, CDE is a family nurse practitioner and certified in diabetic education. She has a master’s degree in nursing and family practice nursing. She is in practice with Oak Ridge Internal Medicine Associates of Oak Ridge.
Cheryl Goforth, NP, is a nurse practitioner with Oak Ridge Internal Medicine Associates of Oak Ridge. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing.
