ADFAC announced on Friday that Techmer PM has become a benefactor sponsor for its 2015 Corporate Membership Campaign.
The Techmer PM Employee Volunteerism Program committee members presented their donation on behalf of the company to ADFAC’s executive director, Annie Cacheiro, a press release said.
The Techmer PM Employee Volunteerism Program, or EVP, was created to support, encourage, and coordinate the volunteer efforts of their employees, the release said. Its mission is to invest time in national, regional, and local initiatives that improve the quality of life for those in their communities. Charitable support is focused in three areas: youth programs, homeless/indigent, and military.
According to Nicole Brannick, senior executive assistant to Techmer PM’s chairman and chief executive officer, “Our EVP committee felt strongly about supporting ADFAC, as it serves people in need who fall into all three categories.â€
“We are thrilled to have this generous corporate support from Techmer PM,†Cacheiro said. “It’s wonderful to connect with employers throughout our community who value the work ADFAC is doing.â€
Techmer PM is a leading producer of value-added colors and additives for the plastics and fiber industries. The company, which has been in business for more than 30 years, is family-owned and headquartered in Clinton.
ADFAC is an independent nonprofit agency established in 1987 that exists to serve the basic needs of primarily low-income residents in Anderson and surrounding Appalachian counties. ADFAC’s goal is to help families become stable and self-sufficient through a variety of direct assistance services provided by our Social Services and Affordable Housing programs.
