The Second Annual Ninja 5K is at the Horizon Center in west Oak Ridge on Friday, June 19.

Registration and martial arts demonstrations start at 7 p.m. The race begins at 8 p.m.

The 3.1-mile Horizon Center race course is very flat and accessible for wheelchairs and strollers, according to race organizers.

Participants may register online at www.ninja5k.com or on site at the Horizon Center Conference Building on Novus Drive. Registration is $35 for adults and $20 for youth ages 17 and under. Participants are encouraged to dress like a ninja and run with a group of friends.

Organizers said free glow items, free Baskin Robbins ice cream, participant T-shirts, and ninja gear sales will be available on site.

The race is sponsored by the Oak Ridge martial arts experts at Progressive Martial Arts, or PMA.

Spectators are welcome.
