The Robertsville Middle School chapter of the Technology Student Association, or TSA, attended the 2015 Tennessee State Conference in Murfreesboro from Thursday, March 5, to Saturday, March 7. Robertsville had the largest chapter in attendance with 30 seventh- and eighth-grade students competing.
This was the second year in a row that all of the chapter’s students finalized in every event that required multiple rounds of judging, a press release said.
The RMS TSA chapter earned first place in seven events:
- First place—Electrical Applications Written Test (Eric Thornton)
- First place—Electrical Applications (Eric Thornton)
- First place—Environmental Focus (Brynlee Bussell, Audrey Chrisman, Natasha Lloyd, Morgan Loggins, Emily Potter, and Caroline Webb)
- First place—Geospatial Technology (Jourdan Cantrell, Marissa Israel, and Jordan Kelly)
- First place—Technology Bowl Written (David Joy)
- First place—Technical Design (Rosalia Otaduy and Jessie Pitz)
- First place- Water Infrastructure (Reagan Byrd, Tori Eacott, Monica Johnson, Morgan Loggins, and Caroline Webb)
RMS TSA won nine second-place trophies:
- Second place—Agriculture and Biotechnology Design (Audrey Chrisman, Natasha Lloyd, Morgan Loggins, Emily Potter, and Sophia Whorton)
- Second place—Challenging Technological Issues (Rosalia Otaduy, Jessie Pitz)
- Second place—Electrical Applications Written Test (Jake Cheney)
- Second place—Electrical Applications (Jake Cheney)
- Second place—Energy Sources (Tori Eacott, Parker Hatch, David Joy, and Tristan Ruddy)
- Second place—Essays on Technology (Sophie Stanley)
- Second place—Medical Technology Issues (Jourdan Cantrell, Stephen Foster, Marissa Israel, Rosalia Otaduy, Alexis Palau, and Sophie Stanley)
- Second place—Problem Solving (Maddie Peters and Veda Seay)
- Second place—Technology Bowl (Brynlee Bussell, David Joy, and Morgan Tittle)

RMS TSA won five third-place trophies:
- Third place—Dragster Design (Sophia Whorton)
- Third place—Go Green Manufacturing (Reagan Byrd, Maddie Peters, and E.G. Scott)
- Third place—Inventions and Innovations (Tori Eacott, Parker Hatch, Monica Johnson, Morgan Tittle, and Jacob Wright)
- Third place—Promotional Design (Alexis Palau)
- Third place—ebsite Design (Reagan Byrd, Marissa Israel, and Morgan Tittle)
