Obituary: Faye Harmon

Faye Harmon, age 71, of Clinton, passed away Monday, February 16, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.

Faye began playing the piano when she was 10 years old and played at Lakeview Baptist Church where she attended. She enjoyed shopping, crafting, and raising her kids and grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Eugene and Flossie Mae Ellis; brother, Bill Ellis; and great-grandson, Anthony James Hampton.

Faye is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charlie Harmon; sons, Steve Harmon and wife Nancy, Larry Harmon and wife Teri, and Chuck Harmon; daughter, Sheila Hampton and husband Jim; grandchildren, Randy Hampton, Matthew Harmon, Stephanie Manning and husband Ryan, Amanda Parks and husband Tyler, Tiffany Hampton and husband John Walker, Tyler Hampton, and Brady Harmon and wife Tiffany; and great-grandchildren, Brighton Mae Harmon and Madison Kate Parks.

Faye’s family will receive friends on Thursday, February 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jones Mortuary in Clinton. Her funeral service will immediately follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Steven A. Harmon and Rev. Robert Rhyne officiating. Faye’s interment will be Friday, February 20, at 2 p.m. at Sartin Cemetery in Clinton.

Jones Mortuary in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
