Tennessee Titans VP to headline DOE Oak Ridge Women’s Workshop

Jenneen Kaufman, vice president and chief financial officer of the Tennessee Titans, will give the keynote speech at the annual Oak Ridge Women’s Workshop in March.

The workshop will be presented by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge Office Federal Women’s Program, or FWP, and the Oak Ridge Chapter of Federally Employed Women, or FEW. It’s on Thursday, March 12 at the New Hope Center at 602 Scarboro Road in Oak Ridge.

In conjunction with the annual FWP Workshop on March 12, the FEW Southeast Region will offer its annual Regional Training Program from March 11 to 13, a press release said.

The workshop has a theme “All Hands In: Innovate and Collaborate,” and it’s open to federal employees, contractors, and the general public.

Kaufman is a Knoxville native. She will headline the luncheon keynote address.

In 2014, Kaufman was in her 18th season and her sixth as vice president/CFO for the Titans. She spent her first 11 seasons as the team’s controller before being promoted to vice president/controller in 2008, the press release said.

With federal women participants from all over the Southeast, the event will include panel discussions, networking, and professional and personal workshops, and it will feature well-known speakers and panelists such as:

• Monica Regalbuto, associate principal deputy assistant secretary for environmental management, U.S. Department of Energy;
• Pamela Reeves, U.S. Tennessee Eastern District Judge;
• Michelle Crockett, national president, Federally Employed Women;
• Stephanie Short, associate deputy director for field operations, U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Science;
• Jamie Woodson, president and chief executive officer of State Collaborative on Reforming Education, or SCORE; and
• Tearsa Smith, WATE-TV news anchor, Good Morning Tennessee.

Also during the event, two high school students will be awarded scholarships based on essays submitted for the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Scholarship as well as the Jeanette Miller Memorial Scholarship sponsored by the Oak Ridge Chapter of Federally Employed Women, the press release said.

Attendees have several registration options and may choose to participate in either the one-day Oak Ridge Women’s Workshop on March 12 ($45) or the full three-day Regional Training Program held March 11-13 ($75).
