Lanny Franklin Green

Lanny Franklin Green, age 57 and a resident of Harriman, passed away Thursday, July 12, at Roane Medical Center.

He grew up in Oliver Springs and had previously lived in Virginia and Georgia.

Lanny was preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Nella Faye Green.

Mr. Green is survived by his sons, Albert and Randy Green, both of Virginia; by a brother, Larry Green and wife Sissy of Midtown; sisters, Darlene Underwood and husband David, and Carolyn Sue Green, all of Oliver Springs, and Sandra Hoskins of Harriman; and two grandchildren.

The memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. July 21 at Indian Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Darrell Vann officiating.

Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs is in charge of the arrangements.
