The Clinton 5k race scheduled for Saturday morning in Clinton will raise money for a splash pad playground to be built in the City of Clinton.
The Clinton 5k and One-Mile Fun Run start at 9 a.m. Saturday, October 25, at Lakefront Park in Clinton.
Organizers said the 5k and one-mile race are walker-friendly.
The City of Clinton has included the splashpad in a recent grant proposal. If the grant is received, the city may just be one more fundraiser away from our goal, organizers said.
“Thanks to all who have already donated and participated in our past 5k races,” they said. “We truly appreciate your support.”
