David Allen Day

David Allen Day, age 55, of Heiskell passed away Sunday, July 8, at University of Tennessee Medical Center after a battle with cancer.

He was a loving husband, father, and brother. David loved boating, being with friends, and watching NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Mildred Day.

David is survived by his wife Lisa Cooper and son David Seybert, both of Heiskell; and sister Oletha and Pastor George Grimes of Clinton. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

David’s family received friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, in the chapel of Jones Mortuary. All other services will be private.

Jones Mortuary in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
