The Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with Dale Carnegie of Tennessee to offer a six-workshop series on employee engagement. A discount is available for members of the Chamber and for those who register for all six sessions, a press release said.
The first session will be held on August 14 from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the Chamber, located at 1400 Oak Ridge Turnpike. Session one is titled “How Smart Leaders Create Engaged Employees.” Based on new, groundbreaking research you will learn the three clusters of behaviors that significantly impact engagement.
Then, within each cluster, individual actions will be broken down to help participants develop enthusiastic, empowered, confident, and inspired employees—the type of employees who care, who want to be part of a success story, and who will drive an organization to the top. Learn how to increase productivity and reduce turnover by cultivating a workforce of engaged employees.
The cost for members of the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce is $30 per session or $159 for all six. The cost for non-members is $50 per session or $259 for all six. If one person from an organization isn’t available to attend all six, another person from that organization may attend instead for no additional fee.
Dates for the sessions are August 14, 2014; October 30, 2014; January 2015; March 2015; May 2015; and August 2015.
For more information on the topics to be covered or to register, visit the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce’s website at www.oakridgechamber.org.
Organizations that send at least one attendee to each of the six sessions will receive a free, two-hour workshop on site at their location for their employees, tailored to the mission and needs of the organization. Workshops are normally priced at $2,500.
