Margery Ann Bolin

Margery Ann Bolin, age 86, of Oak Ridge, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014, at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

She was born April 30, 1928, in North Vernon, Indiana, the daughter of Hobart and Alice Wagner Evans.

Mrs. Bolin attended Robertsville Baptist Church, where she was active in Sunday School and the New Beginnings group. She was a longtime member of the Oak Ridge Women’s Club and volunteer at the Methodist Medical Center. She enjoyed oil painting and has several pieces of her art hanging in her home.

In addition to her parents, she was a compassionate and loving caretaker of her husband, John K. Bolin, who died in 1999.

She is survived by her son, Steven Evans Bolin of Chattanooga; stepson, David Burnett, whom she considered a son and his wife Kay of Jupiter, Florida, and David’s sister, Buffy Boulet and husband Larry of Indianapolis, Indiana; sisters-in-law, Joan Brandes of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Thelma Dill and husband Robert of Franklin, Indiana; nieces, Tracy Mortiz and Terry Jo Jones of Seymour, Indiana; granddaughter, Kimberly K. Burnett-Pasqualini and husband James of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; and two great-grandsons, Jason and Daniel Pasqualini.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at 7 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary with Rev. Brian Scott officiating. Family and friends met on Friday at 9 a.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial Park for a graveside service.

The family asks that any memorials be made to Tabitha’s Table, a food ministry at Robertsville Baptist Church, 251 Robertsville Rd., Oak Ridge, TN 37830. An online guest book can be signed at www.weatherfordmortuary.com.
