Obituary: Sharon Lea Repass Marsh

Sharon Lea Repass Marsh, age 66, of Lenoir City, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Parkwest Medical Center.

She was a graduate of Everett High School in Maryville and worked as an X-ray technician for nearly 40 years in Knoxville. She began her career with Dr. Roy Wedekind and retired from Tennessee Orthopaedic Clinic.

She was an active member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Oak Ridge, having served as director of worship and director of Christian education. She also sang in the choir.

Sharon loved cooking, traveling, rocking babies in the church nursery, and spoiling her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and June Repass (Abbott).

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ward Marsh; son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Tracy Marsh; daughter and son-in-law Kristi Davis (Marsh) and Chris Davis; grandchildren Ethan Marsh, Owen Marsh, Reid Davis, and Holly Davis, all of Knoxville; sister and brother-in-law Karen Williams (Repass) and Darryl Williams, of Columbia, S.C.; brother, Clifford Repass of Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Oak Ridge, 127 Lafayette Drive, Oak Ridge, TN, 37830, on Saturday, June 21, from 1 to 3 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Oak Ridge. Weatherford Mortuary is serving the family, 158 S. Jefferson Circle, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
