Thelma E. Lively

Thelma E. Lively, age 80, a resident of Munster, Ind., passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014, in Munster, Ind., at the William Riley Memorial Residential Hospice in Munster.

Mrs. Lively was born March 12, 1934, in Springfield, Ill. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Rogers and Grace Allman Rogers; by a sister, Helen Benson; and by brothers, Eddie and Walt Rogers.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Al Lively; by a son, Edward Krakowiak and wife Tammy; by grandsons, Christopher, Corey, and Cole Krakowiak; by granddaughters, Katherine Greer and Michelle Brunner; and by great-grandsons, Kane and Kia Greer.

She is also survived by sister-in-laws, Aline Russell of Oliver Springs, Sandra Phillips and husband Ken of Crossville, Linda Edmonds and husband Jack of Andersonville, Evelyn Hudson and husband Ron of Carryville, Kathy Duncan and husband Langley of Briceville, and Glenda Duncan and husband Wendell of Briceville; and by brother-in-laws, Albert Lively and wife Mildred of Oliver Springs, Homer Lively and wife Linda of Oliver Springs, Fred Lively and wife Lisa of Briceville, and Julian Lively and wife Linda of Briceville.

Additionally, she has several nieces, nephews, extended family, and several friends.

The family received friends on Sunday, June 8, 2014, between 6 and 8 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral was held Monday, June 9, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Friendly Welcome Baptist Church in Oliver Springs. The burial followed at the Seeber Family Cemetery.
